Call of Duty 4 Vs. Call of Duty 5? Which is Better?

OK. So I'm making a video about this AND I made [a blog post about it where you should go vote], but we can discuss it here as well. Which game is better (online and offline) and why? I said it in my blog post, but I haven't played CoD5 yet, so I can't really comment. For those of you who have what's your opinion?

Yeah, but lets say both modern and ww2 both feel good to you. Which has better gameplay? I'm going to borrow/rent CoD5 and make the decisions for myself, but I'm curious as to what everyone else thinks. CoD3 REALLY pissed me off. I'm wondering if CoD5 will be similar or if they learned from 3.

COD4 AND COD 5 are really good , but in my opinion COD4 is better , because its modern warfare and great graphics.

Yes, both games are great. However I feel that CoD:WaW is almost exactly the same in multiplayer as CoD:4 because well lets face it, it is! They didn't change anything for the multiplayer, all the perks are there, all the classes, and even the ability to prestige. However the single player is different, the CoD: 4 single player is more about stealth and precision. CoD:WaW single player reminds me of CoD: 2. a lot of excitement, even when playing the sniper levels.

it's something about Cod4 thats just feels right, the singelplayer mode I have played trough that like 5 times it's just so fun, and the multiplayer is awsome, I actualy didn't think it where gonna be that good when I played it but WOW it's really awsome. and about CoD5 I can start of by saying im not a big fan af all thoose old school weapons, the singelplayer... nah It didn't have as much play time to offer as CoD4, the online it was exately like CoD4 but I didn't like the maps as much as I did in Cod4, the thing I enjoyed most, was the zombie mode, that they really hit the spot with. CoD5 whas like a improved CoD3 (it felt like that to me) I don't own any of the games, but I played them at a friends house, and my choise is to pick up CoD4 (becuse of the awsome online) and then (when I get the money) aim for CoD5 (it wasn't that bad :) )

I'll think you miltownkid are gonna enjoy CoD4 a bit more than CoD5 becuse you like GoW2 and I feel CoD4 and GoW2 are much closer games than CoD5 and GoW2. but you have to make your'e own choise. cya at the field

COD4 is way better just play COD4 first for like a week or two then switch to COD5 u will be interested for like 30 minutes the most an hour then u will say this is just like COD4 except with crappy guns and glitchy maps

cod waw is the reason how i got MY dead xbox, and it sucks more badly than cod3. guns r OK, but multiplayer is the same shit as cod4. As for story, doesnt make sense.

Yo Miltownkid it has to be CoD4 ftw man I mean I like them both but I like CoD4 better. CoD5 is alright since they added the japanese there now not just the same old Nazi germans. A lot of people got tired of WW2 games so people prefer more, Modern Warfare going on.Not just the same old World War II since they've been told in so many ways but we know what is the result into them. CoD4 n CoD5 graphics are pretty much the same cuz they're on the same engine. Multiplayer its just the same system with prestige n rankings. Gameplay wise CoD4 is the best, its something what u expect in modern war. CoD5 gameplay its the same old thing you'd expect from WW2. Up to you man but i think you'd like CoD4 better i'm hoping.

Yeah i wish they made a german campaign in CoD5 and added a good story to go along with it, that would have freshened the genre up a bit. Like a german soldier hunting allied soldier, then ultimate showdown, etc etc. Fighting in a war isn't a story and its boring, but CoD5 still does that, and you never really get to know the characters since there isn't enough cutscenes, like when Sgt. Sullivan gets killed i didn't even know who he was at the time and it totally didn't bother or affect me. The only parts that did upset me was when the soviet soldiers murdered the germans in cold blood. Treyarch should be destroyed, they don't know anything about good games, other than action, action, action.
