Halo 3: Should I get it?

I've been thinking about getting Halo 3 for a while now. I was wondering if it is still a good game to get. Many people say its out dated and i not as fun as it use to be. Ive played Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 and to me they're still great games. So i just wanted to find out what you guys think of Halo 3.

Halo 3 is a great game to have for when friends come over to your house and you need a good 4 player game. However unless your really good at Halo, playing online isn't fun anymore because the only people that still play online are the hardcore halo fans who will dominate hard.If you enjoyed Halo single player than Halo 3's is OK, Its defiantly a good LAN game to have around.

well the rank system is pretty good for people that just start because you play with people with the same rank if you can connect pretty good. But sometimes the hardcore people make new accounts because there fags.

You should get it if you are ready to play a game and get addicted to it and play everyday because thats about what it takes to be good

I play it alot.
The campaign is fun and the multiplayer is fantastic.
You should buy it at all cost.

:P i rented it and i want to buy it now! =] its very good, you can download maps, edit maps,play a lot of online mods, play campaign online and offline, single player all the stuff and you should really get it. you get 1 exp for every time your team wins online and its really exciting trying to lvl up, and there are a lot of achievements to unlock.
